A change of pace

The Bernina SMs have a little (about the size of a 'legal' sheet of paper) shelf sort of thing that fits on level with the free-arm. Someone at Bernina with a great sense of humor calls it a 'table'. This gives a larger flat area to support whatever you're sewing. The problem with this table is that it fits on with delicate pins that pop in two at the worst possible moment. Some years ago, I told you about my discovery. Two unopened cans of tomato paste slipped under the table will provide good support for the table if you are a bit heavy-handed when stitching. Last night, one of my cheap solutions started to leak from the can's seam. Easy enough to discard and replace it - but that could have really been a major disaster. So. I know that most of you regard me as just a pretty face, but if anyone was paying me any attention at all and tried my solution, it may be time for a Change of Paste. Polly

Ok, that's great advice! But the play on words had me ROFLOL! Polly, you are a gem! Are you sure you didn't do stand-up in another life?

Asking this is against my better judgment but I am so curious. There's a forensic pathologist's report being discussed a lot on the tv news. It seems that they believe that an extremely well-endowed woman was giving herself injections in her left buttock. They report that she was right-handed. Now, I can't imagine how that can be done. Don't any of you actually get out a needle and get hurt, but would one of you ample-bosomed ladies test that trick for me? Reaching over, under, across or around just strikes me as quite a contortion. Polly

Right arm around the back to the left buttock would work for me.

Maybe it is the ample bottom that makes it do-able? I bet if you need the drugs bad enough your left hand will work in a pinch? What a mess of a situation. Nancy Reagan was right. Just say no. Taria

Howdy!

LOL!!!

Thank you. I've been cleaning too many rooms today, needed this belly laugh. ;-D

Btw, a ziploc bag would hold that canned paste, like a good friend. And not everyone would do that, hold your canned.

Nope, can't answer that. Not endowed. But there were probably several people who hung around her who did it for her.

Yeah, if the can leaked it is now a toxic science project.....DON'T EAT IT! Stick with the Elmer's School Glue; that's what it's made for!

Nope. Didn't eat it. I figured it had become a hazardous material - but for

80¢, it was easy enough to replace.

Hmm... It's 3:45 AM and I don't know why you want to know this -- I'm just skimming the hundreds of messages here. :) But I've given myself injections many times, and I'm a DDD. Of course, I'm an RN, so that makes it a little easier, I suppose. Use right hand, stick needle into gluteus minimus, inject. Actually easy. Had to give my self iron injections several years ago, then B12 injections 10 years ago. I wasn't going to go into the clinic and pay to have a nurse stick me in the butt with a needle when I could do it perfectly well myself. I just had my doctor prescribe it for me. He gave me a handful of syringes.

Well after looking like an idiot for a few minutes and having my family rof laughing at me......... there is no way I could do it from the front! I can reach the far side from a rear angle of twist and stretch but around the "ample" bits in front? Not a chance darlin' ! LOL and I can boast of a well endowed left cheek as well and even that isn't enough to make it past the "ample" frontage to the "well endowed" rear.
