A little OT, but not really

Okay. So, we have heard about Mz Butterfly's DD and her problems after the car accident. Now DD is on the mend after a scary period of not knowing if the doctors could save her right foot. She has a long road ahead of her for rehabilitation.

Would you like to make a great gal smile? Would you like to be able to help her keep busy during this time? [You gotta know that Bridgette is a go-getter]

Take a piece of fabric and trace your right foot on it. Or the right foot of your baby/kid/DH/SO/ dog/cat. Outline it and embellish it however you want [toe ring? Nail polish looking design? Flipflops? Use your imagination!]. Send it in a cheery card to: Bridgette Doremire

17009 E Deerskin Dr Fountain Hills AZ 85268

She will have a blast arranging and rearranging the designs and blocks, reading cards, and she'll have a Right Foot Saved quilt when it is all done!

Thanks so much in advance, Ginger in CA

Uh, I'm an utter novice - just how large may that block be? There must be a kind of standard size I haven't heard about yet.

U.

There is no set block size. Feet vary in shape and size, so will the blocks as far a square or rectangle! Jus remember to have a good seam allowance for the joinings.
