A serious beg

no, that's not a "big evil grin" - that's a for real BEG.

Does anyone out there have ANY scraps of classic or muscle car fabric they would be willing to trade for something else I might have?

For examples you can see here:

I have made the realization, that since DD's BF now lives here, I will need a stocking for him too! I thought I was all finished with that last year but really think I should whip him up a stocking. Am also assembling one for Kitty Grandma since she will be spending the night now on Christmas Eve.

If you have any "car" scraps you would be willing to trade, please feel free to e me off list? tina at ogd - graphics dot com (take out spaces)

It just occurred to me that I don't think the new directory is out yet and my old address is in the previous directory. I have a new Katy address, not Houston, if anyone needs it......

Hugs and thanks again a million Tina

Tina, I don't have muscle cars, but I do have big work machines -- earth movers and the like. Big designs on a beige background. Let me know if you want it. I have .5 yd I think, maybe a bit scant but not much.

Wish I could help, Tina -- car fabrics are not among the novelties I have. :S

Thank you all so much for the overwhelming response!

I was somewhat disheartened when I looked at that car fabric on e-quilter and thought, geez, at $8.95 per yard and the minimum being

1/2 yard, that's outrageous when all I really need is some scraps I can crazy quilt together to make the muscle car loving boy a Christmas stocking!

But I have had enough wonderful and very kind response off-list that I think I will have more than enough to make one Christmas stocking!

Thank you all for being so wonderful. I knew it would be much more simple to just ask for a few scraps!

Hugs, Tina

And thank you, Tina, for mentioning your need for car fabric. When I saw your post, it crossed my little mind that this grand group would like to send an ugly for Pami. She may kill me, of course, but it's worth the risk. Polly

I found a Terry LaBonte car on one square...it's yours if you want it...It's a 5" square. It's nice because it's a signature square as well. Pami
