I was told yesterday during my machine quilting class with Elizabeth Spanning (fun! I learnt a LOT!) that Peacock and Feather north of Seattle is also closing! Looks like the land was possessed by the city or something like that - it is the third one in the area that closes since I've moved here! :o(

Sorry to hear that. I just heard this past weekend that my favorite shop in my mom's area, and pretty close to the top of my fav. shop over all list, is closing the end of the year.
Did you mean Peacock and Periwinkle? We had our annual quilt show today and I met the lady who owns P&P. She said their shop is closing because of losing it's location, but that they're going fulltime online. I love their inventory and will definitely put them on my "favored buying" list. It lookes like it was a really great store.
