Another Quilt Finished!

I just finished a quilt, which is the third in a group of four I am making, one for each great nice and great nephew! The oldest child is

6 years, and the youngest 5 months. I want each of them someday to have a quilt I made. "Someday" is the operative word, and in the meantime they look very nice in my quest rooms. Each quilt is done in largish white blocks with whole-cloth stitching in a dark color, and the blocks are joined with bright sashing in another color. Each quilt is different in stitch color and sashing color, and all the blocks are different. And yes, I have signed and dated each as I finish. These quilts are 100% hand stitching, of course, and will fit a twin-size bed. I'm very pleased with them, and the children's mothers are drooling. So sorry I don't have the ability to post photos! I'll begin work on the 4th quilt in a couple of weeks, but in the meantime am taking a whole-cloth break and working on a stitch-in- the-ditch pieced quilt I'll probably give to the church to raffle next spring.

They sound wonderful, Mary! :) I'm just wondering, though, what happens if they're *not* nice? (Sorry -- I couldn't resist!)
