Anybody else NOT getting via Google?

I have not seen a message since Aug. 1 - until today when I set up my new reader and server. Now they are showing clear up until today. : ) I'm using Unison, and BlockNews.

The same has happened to me. I've been busy trying to acces the group through a different route and thanks to Jeanne I think I am finally set to go.

As I mentioned in another thread, today is the first day since 8/1 that I've seen any posts. I've used google for years and been happy with it until now. Guess I'll have to set up something else as well.

Apparently they had a problem and didn't notice, even with people complaining in their own tech forums.

I have always strongly encouraged people to go with a usenet provider and dedicated newsreader. At least there if something goes wrong they actually _listen_ . I am still lucky enough to have an isp that provides usenet access.
