Anyone speak Italian?

Mark is in Bergamo, Italy right now for a conference. Like the well-trained fabric spotter that he is, he noticed a fabric shop the very first day he was there! He sent pictures via his "toy" as I call it, but it's some sort of computer/phone/camera thing, a Blackberry? I digress.

In one photo, it looks like blue satin. He's gone back to the shop, and the label says

Rusetts 10 euro

Aha. So what is "rusetts" in Italian fabric-speak?

According to the bablefish translator it means the same in english as it does in italian. Doesn't mean it is right though. And I don't speak Italian :(

Perhaps it is a more like a proper name that has no translation as opposed to the type of fabric.

It seems to be a name. When googling rusetts it comes up as a sir name for several people. So perhaps it is a line of fabric or the name of the manufacturer such as Moda, Thimbleberries, Benartex, etc. here in the states
