Hi Bronnie,
I CERTAINLY HOPE they didn't accept your entry AND then say you were ineligible for a prize. Grrrr. Do you have a link to your entry? I'd love to see it AND to vote. ;-)

Hi All,
Just wanted your opinion. I intend to vote for Bronnie's magnificent quilt, but I really hate to give out my phone number. (In case you haven't looked yet, it's one piece of information the voting site requires.) I'm one of those on a "do not call list" and guard my number carefully. Am I being overly paranoid? How do you all handle this?
Thanks!
In the past I've been known to give an invalid phone number.
Me too. No way I give out my phone number!
In the US, the prefix 555- is reserved for things like information and weather. I've been known to give out a number like 800-555-1212 for websites that require a phone number for no good reason.
When I voted, I used my area code + 555-1212 (long distance information) and it accepted it. :)

Okay, I've lost the link and can't find the right spot on the AQS site. Help? :S
Never mind. I knew that posting the question would mean I'd find it, and I did.
Thanks everyone for your good responses. I'd thought about an invalid number, but didn't want to post somebody else's number--even though it would be one I'd made up. I like the idea about long distance information though.
Glad to know I'm not the only one who is fanatical about my phone number too. ;-)
Well you got my vote and is this something we can vote on every day or just one time? If every day I need a reminder.
Jacqueline from Kentucky
Thanks Jacqueline. You can only vote once, and no multiple email addys evidently otherwise the AQS police will beat you up LOL
Cheers Bronnie
