Back and sewing

Hi Punters,

The In-Laws have returned home, the house is cleaned and my sewing room has resurfaced. First thing to do was make sure they didn't take home any of my stash and ensuring it was warm and dry. I just knocked off a tiny denim bag (not sure why, just getting my eye in) and I'm working on another couple to hold our mugs when we travel. After that I need a new double ended oven mitt. Sould I call into work and say I have important things to do for the rest of the week and they can do without me for another 10 days?

;)

Welcome back to the real world! ;)

Little projects like that are great for getting back into your groove.

Congrats on getting back to sewing, Fey! By all means call in and say you feel too good to come to work today........or tomorrow......or the rest of the week. LOL. Then call the unemployment office........

Just kidding. There's always the weekend, if you can bear to tear yourself away from your family. I'm working a ton of OT right now, and am getting used to rising at 3:00 a.m. I figure after the overtime is done, I will be so accustomed to getting up early that I may have time to quilt!

But I'm indispensable! ;)

Only have DH and he's more into guitar than I'm into quilting!

Finished one cup bag, next cut out ready. Yay!
