I am back!
My former isp has gone out of buisness, I just wish that they had warned me that their usenet contract would run out 10 days before they closed down. I now have a spanky new isp, well sort of. It is actually my phone company that was providing me with broadband all along. It was great. They flipped the switch to connect me to full service, and I immediately lost all internet access. They have that fixed now...kind of.
So I have plowed through many threads, while also deleting mercilously.
2000 messages in less than 2 weeks!
