Took verizon a while to connect us the new DSL and they sent us the wrong modem (non wireless) so this setup is temporary. W

hat have I missed? I was about to mark it all ready but then I saw some interesting headers about bitching and hug blocks and decided to check what you guys have been 'discussing' while I was busy moving, painting , etc.

So far we got our bedroom done in blue to match my 'Bohemian rapsody with starlight' quilt. Today we will go to IKEA to get new nightstands and a rug and that room should be done except for hanging pics, and minor retouches. If you guys are interested will post pics in my webshots album. The living room is next, will be terracotta. We have a bunch of stuff unassembled and unpacked and will only put it together as we finish the room it goes in...

Sofi seems to like the new house, though she misses our old neighbours.

I got the two old quilts from the previous owner, they are sitting in my new quilting room which is not a priority right now... I put some tables up but didn't unpack any fabric yet. I think the first thing I am going to make in there are new roman shades for our bedroom...

Great to see you again Marissa! Glad to see you are settling in. I have finished part 1 of our move. Closing on the new house is now the 27th. Today the carpeting is in and they started cleaning up the place. Painters were there this morning too. There is still so much to do and it can be frustrating to see how slowly they get things done.

Hugs to you, Linda

Welcome back :) Glad the move is over and the unpacking is progressing.

Here's hoping that your quilting room is set up soon (since for you that means most of the move will be done!) Don't let 'em make you feel bad, my sewing room was the last set up too - that way I could enjoy it when it was done

Did your verizon phone have a local number? I got verizon phone service and they assigned me a phone number for Conway Arkansas - several 100 miles from Bentonville. Everything was toll free for me but my next door neighbor had to make a toll - long distance call to speak with me. When I complained to Verizon they told me I would have have to pay a disconnect and reconnect fee to get a local number. I told them to put their service where the son don't shine and went back to MawBell. Why wouldn't they assume I would want a local number?? Hope you have better luck with your service than I did.
