I will keep QNM and AP&Q. I have the former back to issue #75 or so, and I have a complete run of the latter.
I am, however, going to drop Threads. Wonderful ideas but none that I am going to make. Also, for all their articles about fitting they persist in using professional models to show the clothes.
Nann with a suggestion to quilters in Oz, NZ, etc.: seek back issues from online sellers such as Quilting Traders Newsletter and Quilters Flea Market (both Yahoo groups). At $1 US per issue plus shipping you can get a whole bunch of issues and ideas for a lot less than the newsstand or subscription price. Very often the magazines are only one or two years old. Yes, that is a shameless plug! I sell quilt books and magazines on both of those lists.
