I have got the use of a large table this coming Friday to baste my quilt. I am using a basting gun with the small tags.
How far apart should I baste it together. My top is mainly 6 inch squares. Thanks

About every 4 or 5 inches works best for me. If I did my math right that would be about 10-12.5 cm. Or you could just use the body system and make a fist and measure across the knuckles. Debra in VA See my quilts at

You should not be able to put your hand down anywhere and not touch at least one tag. And obviously, try to put them where you don't plan to stitch, but close by. Roberta in D
