Free embellishments or free jeans???

Today I made my weekly (I wish!) pilgrimage to Wal-mart for the necessities of life- dog food, dog treats, people food, cleaning supplies, etc. I saw a sale rack in the ladies department with a "75% off" sign. Being a true-blue American bargain shopper to the core, it drew me like a magnet. I found a pair of black jeans in my size with the strangest faceted black plastic "doo-dads" in varying sizes and shapes scattered ramdomly over the front pocket area. I wear my jeans with a T-shirt with the hem hanging out rather than tucked into the waistband, so the embellishments would only be strange lumps under my T-shirt- but they are perfect for embellishments on art quilts! The real bonus? I would have gladly paid the $3.00 price for the embellishments alone... and they came with a pair of jeans. Woohoo!!!

$3 for a pair of jeans is just about free so in my book they are *both* free!
