Tachs for the basting gun???

Ok so those that have one, where do you order from?

I have the Microstitch from AveryDennison. However I'm not paying $12 for 1200 little tachs. I wrote the company and they said the tachs for the MicroTach gun will work with my gun as well. Well I've found a couple of retailers that will sell them by the box which is 10,000 tachs. No problem on using them that should do about 10 or more baby quilts. Just wanted to know if anyone has a supplier as it is hard to find someone reasonable. Or company's that I should avoid. Thanx Joanna Alberta

$12 for 1200 seems steep! Well, I see Bethany Reynolds sells 1200 for $9.95

I'd be interested to hear where you've found the larger quantities. Thanks.

I'm so sorry Polly. I had that a week or so ago....it's a pain in the butt....or head. Are the dry cleaner tags short enough for basting quilts?

Good morning. I don't 'do' the tags - only because they're the sort of thing that the Yorkie would swallow and get hurt. However, I find at

that they have the Dennison Mark II Swiftacher (if that's what you're using) and 1" regular, 3" regular, 1" for fine fabrics and 2" for fine fabrics. The 1" for fine fabrics are $ 15.45 for 5000. This place is where I buy massive quantities of safety pins and plastic bags; nothing fancy - just nice folks. Polly

Those are probably a little still too long to baste a quilt. I found some short ones here....

short ones to stack her stackandwhack fabrics together. When I get my gun back from my DS, I may try that for a One Block Wonder.
