binding

Does anyone have a good binding how-to video link they recommend? I am planning out a baby quilt and am freaking out over the binding. I usually just edge with lace trim, etc. But this time I want to bind.

Nancy, many quilters are very happy with Sharon Schamber's method. There's a free video here-

I second this suggestion, I've been using this method for my last few quilts and really love the way they turn out.

I've used a modification of this method a few times. I don't use glue when sewing the binding to the top of the quilt, but do use it on the back. Sometimes I glue the whole binding down on the back; other times I just use it at the corners. It does work well.

This makes it look sooo easy.

I still have trouble with my corners.

Elmers School glue isn't available here, it looks like PVA glue ( a wood glue ) but I don't think that will wash out when dry.

Standard PVA won't, but Elmers is a washable version. We have something similar for school use here in the UK. Pritt stick works! :)
