I was watching an old Sewing with Nancy program and Bruce Seeds was the guest in Nancy's Corner.

links to his gallery of One Block Wonder quilts which he makes exclusively though he said that his first quilt was a small log cabin. If you link onto his 'About' link there are questions posed to him regarding his quiltmaking - some of the replies are quite unique from the male perspective. barnyowl

Interesting site, but I am at a loss as to why any of the replies are in some way a "male perspective." I am also a bit interested in that book to see exactly how that style quilt is made

Thanks for the site. It was very inspiring. I don't see the "male perspective" in his answer but rather an "artist's perspective". Wish I had the time to stop and make a few kaleidoscope blocks today. Always love how one fabric can create so many different patterns.

Perhaps it is my own sense of humour when I envisioned Tim the Toolman Taylor as a quilter and his not being able to sew the top to the batt and backing without 'that other special machine' - "more power" grunt-grunt! I have the 3book series and I also have 2 fabrics cut out already with half-hexagons stitched together - I just need to get organized and in frame to start the design wall/sewing process. barnyowl
