Bulk machine needles sources??

I know one person here said that they had once purchased a 100ct. pk of machine needles at JoAnns. I check my local JoAnns and either they no longer carry them, or they are not carried at my location. Where do the rest of you get your bulk machine needles from?? Any online places to avoid because of bad service, etc??

TIA!!

I bought my needles from

But I found that I could buy smaller amounts of the various types and sizes of needles that I like to use for nearly the same price as bulk- I "stock" embroidery, quilting, top stitch, metallics, etc. needles in sizes from 9 to 16. I like a variety of needles for different uses and threads. Since I live so far from a LQS having the sizes and types of needles right on hand is important to me.

You register with them & then make an offer for the items you are interested in. You almost always get thing for less than the posted price. I haven't bought needles in ages, because I bought so many in bulk. I have also bought from

& been happy with them as well.

Thanks Leslie. I'll check them out. I don't use decorative threads or do much general sewing so I don't need a variety. If I do need something, I'm lucky enough to have an LQS, JoAnns, Hobby Lobby, and a SM dealer all located about 15 min. away.

Thanks Julia. I just checked them out. They have reasonable prices, and smaller quantities than just 100 too. That is nice.

Checked them out. Very nice prices and no shipping if over $15 - I like that. I noticed they have aurifil there too (great price on that too by the way). I even spoke with a staff member. She was very chatty, but still very pleasant to talk. I think I'm going to get an order together here as soon as I decided what colors of thread I want. Thanks Marcella!!

Thanks Kay. Julia also recommended them. The prices at the place Marcella posted are a little bit better, but you need to order at least $15 dollars worth to do an internet order. I am currently planning to order some thread with them so I'm going to do my needles too. I have bookmarked them though and will probably use them in the future when I just want a small order of needles. I'm intrigued by their PTFE sheets. Have you tried them, or do you just order needles?? I think it would be handy for crafting (for both me and my kids) since it says glues and fusibles don't stick. Would probably work well for the youngest one's play dough that I end up scraping of my table. I may have to get me one or two of those an try them out.
