Did I miss this earlier?

I was looking through a magazine just now, and it had the names of the big winners from the Denver National Quilt Festival that took place last month. One of our former RCTQers won for Best Wall Quilt! Those of you who remember Lorilynn might be interested in seeing her "Sherbet and Marshmallow Creme" quilt, which is posted about 3/4 of the way down the page at . It's gorgeous!

I'm assuming I missed seeing someone post this in a more timely fashion, but just in case .... ;)

I just had a call from a fellow quilter wanting to know if I wanted to go to the Mancuso show in West Palm in November. After seeing these quilts, I definitely want to go. Anna Belle

Oooh! Thanks Sandy. It was beautiful to see before; but this close-up shows it to its very best. What a marvellous new 'take' on a wholecloth. . In message , Ragmop Sandy writes

Sandy: Thanks for the news. Remember what fun we had when a bunch of us met in Houston at the Show? That would have been '02 or '04 I think. I remember how I enjoyed sitting with Lori at dinner. She is as personable as her quilts are pretty. The WH with the Siamese cats was made by a guild acquaintance here. PAT in VA/USA
