i meant bout whether or not to be in the directory. it is all related i guess but only a couple might know what i might mean. j.

it will be one year on the 22nd march, not far off. before that is our anniversary and sams birthday to get thru. then i have to go to calif to get taxes done and fix the other stuff there. i'm tired already. that trip could well do me in. the last two trips took me a few yrs to recouperate from. was gonna go back again last april but wasnt up to it after march so makes me another year overdue. travelling used to be fun. since the trip in 01 that took 4 months, returning with little time to feel rested before dealing with my injury, moms going into nursing home, then tim got sick and took a few yrs to appear to come right again, then then then. about all i'm capable of doing now is typing. have wanted to make a phone call for months but everyday find i just dont have it in me anymore to ask for things i shouldnt have to ask for. i asked more than once and thot the stuff would just be sent here when the time was right but i've not got it yet. i'm fast losing even caring about the fight anymore. its all too much work and too tiring. all that probly makes little sense to anyone but thems the words fwiw. j.

You know it hadn't even occurred to me that changing my OS might make a difference here. May I assume your spreadsheet format can speak to Open Office? I can't think of a program compatible with Excel that can't, but thought I had best ask.

Help! I went online & filled out the form, clicked on submit..... and then (due to storms & downed lines) the cable went out and I got a blank screen and an internet connection that was totally gone (for the rest of the day)... I need to know if you got it ok.... I know how "grouchy" you can get when someone submits multiple forms ME-Judy (one of the naughties, too)

I know you think being in the directory or not being in the directory really doesn't matter. You're not really "there" anyway.

I wish, wish you didn't have to go back to Calif. That last time was awful.

sorry, Cindy. just having issues expressing myself. there is again lots to get thru in calif and vancouver (or some canadian city) as well, then who knows where to go. without knowing how long anything will take i cant make flight reservations ahead of time so airlines put me thru extra security checks, no fun at all. sick of all this crap is all. j.

IIRC Alice sends the spreadsheet out in .xls format which OO can read just fine. I habitually switch between Microsloth office and OO and it is pretty seamless.
