Ok, ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! The Directory form is now available and will remain open until the end of January.
The first page has important information so please take a minute to read it. Once you fill in the form and click on the "submit" button, a confirmation page will appear. Please print this page out (there is a print button at the bottom of the page). This page is your receipt and shows you what info you entered into the form.
Several pleases:
Please do not try to cram numerous colors or types into the fields. Enter one color or type into each field. This helps in formatting the final list. Multiples will be subject to editing.
Please do not enter multiple addresses or screen names.
Please fill out the form only once. If you get the confirmation page, your information has been submitted. In the event of "accidental" multiple forms, the last one will be the one used for the Directory. Intentional multiple entries will cost you a FQ!
There is a new question at the bottom of the form which asks if you are a WebTV user. Please select "Yes" if WebTV is your only means of internet access. If you also have a PC or a Mac that you will use to read the Directory, answer "No" to this question. I understand that our WebTV users have some unique format issues that we need to address. Also, you may now request the Directory in PDF format.
Everyone can fill out the form. Each entry will be reviewed against a variety of criteria such as time on the newsgroup, number and type of postings, familiarity to other group members, etc. This is the most difficult part of the process but since we are dealing with very personal information in this Directory, it is necessary. We take your information very seriously.
