Question about the directory

hrmmm -- then I think I did sign up then but never got a confirmatory email back. Are we supposed to get one of those? I don't want to do it a second time which would cause extra work for the directory elves but I do want to make sure that I did it right :-)

If you saw the confirmation page, your information was submitted. However, I think there is an issue with the email you supplied.

I feel a bit foolish asking since you have probably already said, but between the madness around my house lately and unconscionably low levels of caffiene in my bloodstream I can't recall.

The confirmation/test emails proper will go out after the directory closes. You should have seen a web page that stated clearly "this is the information that you sent, please print a copy for your records." If you did not see that page, you ought to re-submit. Otherwise, if you did see that page, you are all set and ought to see the confirmation/test email in about 2 weeks.

After the form closes, the email address that each of you submitted on your form, will be tested. That is the purpose of the email to each of you - to make sure the email address works, not a confirmation of your information. Email confirmations will begin on September 16th.

Alice, i couldnt print mine, will i be severely punished? printer shows nothing at all after appearing to be printing....blank paper comes out. oh well. i assume i have to print something often enough(how often i've no idea) so the tubes dont dry out and refuse to print. it is not out of ink according to the stats on it. who knows. cheers, jeanne

Jeanne, I didn't print mine, either. But I did "print" it to a pdf file, just in case I needed it later. Saved a leaf off of some tree somewhere, maybe. ;)

king sized, eh. hmmmmmm, sure enough, soon as i get one all finished. now as to when that might be is one of the mysterys of the universe. i'll put ya at the top of the list tho, for sure, Alice. :) cheers, jeanne
