Directory Update....

Just a quick note that I did hear from Alice W. She is alive and well... but very busy with "work - work". On the road quite a bit over the past many weeks. If only there were a few more hours each day we could reserve especially for those things we would REALLY like to do!!! LOL

I know several of you have feared she had fallen ill or something dreadful had happened. Fortunately, NOT the case. Just a wee bit of "Life Interruptus".

If we can be patient just a bit longer.... she is working on the directory has quickly as she can. For any of you that have ever undertaken a job like this... let me assure you that it is quite a time consuming task... especially with her validating each email address and the authenticity of each sender as a regular poster to protect our private contact information.

I know no one is rushing her -- but I do know there have been several posts over the past couple of weeks fearing for her health and safety. We can now relax patiently that we know she is well -- just over busy!

I have a lot of experience with Excel and Word. Ask Alice if there is anything I can do to help. I know it is a lot of work and I don't have a job and would be happy to help out.

Thanks for the update, Kate. I know how much work the directory can be, since I took it over for one edition way back when. It's good to know that Alice is okay. :)

Glad to hear Alice is alive and well and working and warming up the roads between quilt shops.

Directory? There's a directory? *snort* I know the way to Butterfly's new hometown; that's enough info for me!

That is why we have talked... I also am pretty proficient with the apps (used to actually teach them... even passed the Microsoft Office User Specialists exams! WOOHOO -- that and a nickel.... LOL) I have offered my help if she wants/needs it to tweak formatting to meet peoples' needs.

She knows she has help waiting if she needs it... but thanks for the offer.

Thanks from me too Kate. I haven't been able to read the ng as often as I'd like lately and I was wondering if I had missed the directory. Its good to know Alice is OK and just busy.
