What did I do today

Heh I sewed and it was fun. I decided to go for the S.E.X. as I had to go out for a Dr. appoint anyhow. I think the quilt lady at the store lost her mind, beuase she sold me enough fabric to make about 1/2 a quilt :( Its a wall hanging of an asian garden from Emperor's II collection from Kona bay (hey does anyone know if that is Chinese or Japanese? I would like to give it to my kids Karate Sensei as he just redid his dojo in a Japanese theme ) Well I have 1/2 a quilt and now I need more S.E.X. hehe this is fun. I was going to start my butterfly stars but I realized it was late, so I made my block for this cool $10 quilt class I joined at a local shop. (very fun, as long as you show up before the early bird each month with block in hand, you never pay more than $10 you paid to join... All the rest of the supplies are free :) Anyhow it was a flower basket and the points actually matched. So I guess I have to wait until moday to finsih my emporer wall hanging. Anyone want to see 1/2 a wall hanging lol. I posted it up I think its neat, I saw it in the local shop and was inspired. It will look better when its done, but I am pleased. I guess Butterfly stars it is for the rest of the weekend :) Anyhow if you want to look, its on page two of the the quilts album. I only wish I could have finsihed it tonight.

Carissa (who is so happy to be sewing, I didnt even mind trimming all those annoying hst and ironing them wasnt too bad either)

That's *gorgeous*, Carissa! Wow! What's the other half going to have on it? I'd have thought it was done. Wow, again! I'm sorry I don't know whether it's Chinese or Japanese, but I suspect it's Japanese.

That will be wonderful.I really like theWH to be!

That is going to be one special wallhanging when it's done- lucky Sensei!

Thank you all :) I cant wait to get back to the store for the rest of the window frame fabric. My family is coming over today or else I would go today and get it.

Carissa

Howdy!

Pretty 1/2 wallhanging, Carissa.

From the Kona Bay site:

their Asian orientals look more Japanese. Some of the themes/patterns could go for Chinese but the geisha panel & Scenes of Japan indicate... well, Japan. Seems to be more Japanese titles to the fabric, too. It's your fabric, your quilt/wallhanging: you decide. ;-D

Cheers! Ragm> Heh I sewed and it was fun. I decided to go for the S.E.X. as I had to go

The wallhanging is beautiful. Can't wait to see the second half!
