What I did this weekend

I had a class I am teaching canceled due to snow, so I was able to make the sample I need for next quarters class. My LQS has a lot of Oriental fabric so I made another one.

That's lovely Denny. Seem to be quite a few techniques involved.

So, you're a regular long-term quilt teacher now! It hardly seems a moment since you were telling us you'd been asked to do a first lesson (on postcards?) and you were really nervous about it >g< Well done you. . In message , Kiteflyer writes

Thanks Patti,

Almost all I do is raw edge appliqué in these classes, like the postcards, other than the purse classes (We quilt the material and assemble the purse and lining).

All the black inside the pink border is 1 piece, cut out with an exacto knife and fused over the fabric. Then blanket stitched all around.
