dream puff batting question

Feb 11, 2008 4 Replies

Googd morning everyone!

Quick question: has anyone ever used this battiong (quilter's dream dream puff)?

I would like to make a nice puffy quilt and I'm wondering if this stuff will hold up the puffiness and not add weight. The product description sounds nice and just what I'm looking for.

Anyone???

Thanks

Claudia

It is a nice fluffy polyester batting. Yes it is somewhat fluffy. Many shops also have sample cards of the battings (the company sends them out) so ask if they don't have it on the shelf so you can get a look and feel of the batting to determine if it is as puffy as you desire. I don't find poly batts to be particularly heavy.

I don't think the quilters dream batt is as fluffy as Hobbs Cloud Loft batting though.

I used it in a memory quilt for my granddaughter. It is puffy and very easy to work with. I would choose it again. I machine quilted, and that part went just fine.
