Finally found when I started wanting to learn to quilt

Bored tonight and since I am having to post from google, I decided to do a search to see when I first joined this group then quit it. It was June and July of 1996. I remember saying when I first joined that I had once been a part of it but had to quit. After reading my past posts I discovered that the reason I quit, was I learned I could not quilt for a while due to a blood clot in my leg. LOL now that is odd because now it is my leg/knee/ankle that has caused me to not be able to get started, only this time I have stuck with it and bought my fabric taken one on line class, although I didn't make the quilt and am taking another now. This time I am not giving up I am going to be successful if I have to end up trying to do it by hand, which I don't think I can do but I will try, if need be. I want to do something for sure, so that when I no longer have my father, that is if I outlive him, that I will have something to do to past time.

That seach required a lot of time because used so many different emails and user names that I had to search several different ways. At that time I was using the user name Jackee, don't ask me why I guess it was because I hate just plain Jackie although all my dad's family calls me that and my mother's all call me plain on Jack.

I make all my quilts by hand, including the binding, and it is so relaxing. I can sit with my feet up, watch television, and get much more done than if I had to sit at a sewing machine (bad back). It takes longer, but I'm not usually in a hurry anyway. I'm sure you'll be successful.

P.S. My older sister's name was Jacquel> This time I am not giving up I am going to be
