Finally, the Girly Quilt

Ok, here it is. The Girly quilt, or at least my interpretation ofsame. The final size is 70" x70" . The colors are Dusty Rose andCelery Green, and small print on white. The pattern is Double NinePatch as the white blocks are a nine patch block made of delicate blueand red flowers with light green vine on a white background set in 1inch bocks. I am pretty happy with the outcome and it has stimulatedme to try some other colors that I might not have tried, otherwise. Iam going to take some time off from quilting to do some woodworking.Not to fear though, it is quilting related. I am going to inset myJanome 1600 long arm quilting sewing machine into the tabletop that itis used on, which will lower its working surface and provide a largerworking area, without having to use an add on shelf for a workingsurface. I also have some quilt racks to finish, and a few otherthings. I have a new quilt planned which is a radical departure forme. A modern design which involves bold primary colors, in solidblocks of large proportion and random size which are offset by smallsashing of non uniform placement. How is that for a confusingdescription?Hope you like the quilt.John
