That is a real nicely bright piece! I saw pinwheels, also, to me it was the color placement. and your new name for it reinforces that idea.

I think that many times we see design elements in quilts that may have us shaking our heads. Color combinations, or perhaps a pattern. I am pretty sure that the vast majority of artists do not intentionally place those things with the idea of offending someone, or a segment of society.

Gosh, Kathyl, how sweet of you! But I don't often enter the challenge. I entered last year on a whim, and all entrants always get a free "kit" for the next one. That's how I ended up with this fabric, which I probably would not have bought on my own. LOL!
