Yesterday I was at Potomac Mills Shopping Center in Woodbridge, Virginia. The G Street Fabric store is gone. I wonder if the whole chain has closed, or just that branch.
BTW: I went across the way to a Joanne Fabric Store and got the pens I need there. It is an excellent Joanne Store, and the employees were very helpful. I wish the one local to me was as nice.

Nope, Potomac location closed back in 2008(?). According to the "buzz" at the time, one of the main reasons was the lousy parking situation. The Rockville store relocated just a few blocks from the old location.

Hi Pat,
I just went to the G Street in Rockville, MD before Christmas! It didn't look as though it was closing! My son lives just a couple miles from there, so I can visit often. By the way, they had lots of qulting cottons on tubes...it was the regular width, but rolled on tubes. Have you ever seen that?
