That could be me if the garage wasn't filled with dogs and guns and decoys and reloading supplies, and ...

Gee, all it would take for me is a move to California! I've thought of this but the cold and damp we "enjoy" would make it miserable most of the year.

Shivering,

And on a day like today all I can think is BRRRRRRRRRRRR.

No mention of insulation, garage door sealing or space heaters.

I'd freeze to death in our garage. Even with fancy carpet tiles on the floor.

marcella always cold.

Well, I'd have to put DH in there too! And I would never banish my dogs to cold dog houses!

Haha

I spent 20 years living in a house that had no heat during the wet season. (Floor furnace that flooded out with each rain, and 70 year old single glazed leaky windows). My unheated garage is pretty nice in comparison.

But I'll keep my quilt room where it is, thank you very much. Heat and light ARE nice. :)

I have memories of a few early mornings hovering around the wall gas heater in our first little 'shack' in San Diego. It didn't often get cold there but when it did my it was cold. At least that thing didn't flood like your floor furnace!

I staked out ds's bedroom as my sewing room 'to be' years before he left home. It has a window that is bright and sunny. Pretty nice in the cooler part of the year. A tad warm in the summer but over all it is a good thing. Nearly 30 years later I still miss the wonderful upstairs room I had at the folks house. Huge room with large windows overlooking tree tops. Birds all over the place in the yard then. Taria

It was nice to actually see the stacking units with bins, and know what they would cost from Ikea. I have an Ikea near me. Hmmmm.... Gwen
