That's is wonderful! It's sort of . . . whimsical -- combining vivid colors with elegant design. Your combining of fabric patterns and composition is so expert.

Yes Allison, Vikki's technique is worth understanding and considering for some art quilt design - this was a 'challenge' with the 15x15in restriction. Two of the flowers that run off the edge are 'proud' of the background. I am currently working on a very large piece - 75 inch sq - using her method (for which the background fabric of this one was purchased [Timeless Treasures Tonga batik, Hancocks of P]). Bron
