hand project for scraps

i found this online while looking thru the sewing/quilting projects at the fiskars site today. i liked it cuz it uses up scraps of all shapes, sizes, colours. as a memory game or an i spy, good way to learn colours, numbers, even recycling. seems to work for all age 'kids'. :) could be a good project for older kids to make a gift for the younger ones for xmas. lots of other simple projects on their site too. several different cellphone holders for a stocking gift or for those unexpected guests around the holiday, lol. nayy, j.

But there is no reason that cotton scraps couldn't be used. Maybe felt on the back and cotton on the front, with or with out the applique. Lots of different variations if you stop and think about it.
