Hand quilting question

No yelling when I've been to their booth. Dierdra's husband was being tested in his "fitting skills" last time I was there and there was a teensy bit of raised voices between the spouses ;-) but none toward customers.

Anne > They yelled at you?!? Yikes! I went to the website and it does state that

Always sorry this (yelling) happened to anyone.

Thimblelady herself is just lovely to deal with, in person and on the phone. She was very helpful and friendly when I rang a few weeks ago about books.

I don't think so.

First I had tried calling their number (as the little paper that came with the thimble said one could do) I was told I must not have measured my finger correctly. I said, perhaps, but I had bought my thimble at a booth at PIQF and was told which size to purchase. Then she said I was wrong then, the thimble fit fine and they would not exchange it.

So, I waited until PIQF rolled around again and after enduring a yelling where i was told my finger should turn purple after wearing it for a while she begrudgingly gave me the next size larger and told me I'd be disappointed.

I'm not. It fits great and doesn't hurt.

Yes, the Thimblelady is a dream. Very sweet.

It wasn't her thimble that was the problem.

Though, I can't seem to get hers to fit. Either too big or too small. Oh well, I just have odd fingers :-)

Sorry - I misunderstood

BTW - have you seen her thimble holders NAYY - but these are almost enough to make me try hand quilting again LOL

Those are nice. I find notions more addicting than fabric I'm afraid.

My prettiest thimble is from TJ Lane. A very nice lady with all kinds of pretty thimbles that she makes.
