Happy Australia (quilting) Day!

My Aussie daughter just chastised me for not wishing her a happy Australia Day -- so here's to all of you Antipodeans!

G'day Rusty! Thanks for your wishes! DH and I had a little picnic in the hills for lunch before returning home to watch the Aussie Tennis Open. You daughter will be feeling the heat this week in Melb. Have just heard they are headed for 5 days over 100 C -- what a shocker. Cheers to you too,

Bronnie

Thanks Rusty. It is indeed a happy day - the last before I'm back at work after a few weeks off. Had to end some time...

Happy Australia Day to the rest of the Aussies!

It's a common misconception that Australians actually drink Fosters Jeanne.

I can't even tell you the last time I saw a 'slab' for sale and I go to the bottle shop on a regular basis... every year around Christmas time.... :-)

Got 2 gold medals for knocking down metal shaped animals with high velocity lumps of lead in Canberra, and got to see little Sam on the way home today!

I didn't do too good in a couple of matches, but did get fairly reasonable scores, for me, in 3 an okay score in 1 and really bombed out in 2. My first 2 matches were the ones that were bad, I think I can put it down to what I'd been doing for the past 2 months or so, especially the painting...

Thanks rusty. It was a warm one here in Perth, but very relaxed on Australia Day.
