After over three years of not quilting (other than ONE baby quilt), I'm completely ecstatic to be quilting again! Due to tremendous frustration with the quilting system we'd had, and a growing pile of unquilted tops, I'd sworn off making new ones until there was some reasonable chance they'd get quilted. Stash expansion was also halted. Missed you guys, but it was just too hard to hang around here like that.
BUT, during the past several weeks, we've gotten the new system set up and running, two lap quilts quilted, and several more tops ready to go! I'm a happy camper, even if horribly out of practice and feeling like I'm learning all over again.
Let's see. In that time, I graduated from rabbinical school and served a congregation in way-northern New York state for three years, before moving to Indy as a hospital chaplain. We're loving being back in the midwest (we lived in MN for 25 years before rabbinical school in Philadelphia for six years).
Work is intense, so I'm not spending as much time online as a few years ago. It may take a few weeks, but I'd love to catch up a bit and find out what's going on with all of you. In the meantime, it shouldn't be too hard to get the webshots album up to date , so I'll plan on doing that in the next few days.
It's so good to see all the familiar names, and I'm looking forward to meeting the newer ones!
