Happy Dance in Tacoma!

After months of not being able to sew much because of time constraints, and then it getting too cold for my hands, I finished two baby quilts this past week. DD has two friends in ballet whose moms unexpectedly became pregnant and were due three days apart! One has delivered that I know of, and the other is due tomorrow, so we'll see how that goes. Both quilts have gone to their new homes, and I'll see about posting photos somewhere so you can see them since I'm no longer using yahoo photos.

Great news about finishing - you're obviously faster than me! Were the two mums at the same party or what?

Thanks, Jess! They were quick and easy, but the mums were thrilled! Now I am working on getting that room downstairs the rest of the way decluttered and organized so I can spend more time chatting. Sprring cl***ning is such a pain!

I dunno, but it seems that it's going around. Now, if we could hurry up and find one to adopt, it'd all be good!

They're both Rail Fence...the quickest and easiest pattern I've found that everyone seems to like. Both quilts took about 4 hours each from first cut to last stitch on the bindings. I just worked on them here and there, and barely got them done on time...LOL.
