She's a contented gal tonight! Got her 30 cans of FF today. She has sucked up most of one can all through out the day. Now I have noticed another problem:-( She's started to drool. Snooty like drool (sorry ta be so nasty!) Poor ole gal, can't close her mouth all the way (we affectionately call her "Snaggle tooth!"! One fang is longer than the other. But other than that, she seems to be happy & chatty!!

Ah ha! She does have a problem. The discolored drool is either a result of a head cold or a tooth problem. Take her to the vet. If the fang has gotten longer recently then she has a tooth problem. She may just need some antibiotics to clear it up, but removal of the tooth will allow her to close her mouth all the way again. My Samson had a fang move, and suddenly he couldn't open or close his mouth, the top fang and bottom fang sort of interlocked together oddly and it looked like he had broken his jaw. He couldn't eat or drink. I still remember the fear in his eyes from that, and it's been two years ago. The good news is that she's eating again. The bad news is that she does need to see a vet. Thanks Debra! She's back to her old self today!! Following me around, YELLING for her food! (sleeping now, after her breakfast.) No more drooling!! Her fang has been like this ever since we got her. Thanks to everone for your help. Nana
