Happy New Year

I had planned to sew today, but.... I started by making bread - mixing and kneading. Then DH suggested we bake some ribbon cookies (dough in refrigerator). While I'm slicing those, he decided to make another treat that takes Rice Krispies, peanut butter and chocolate (our neighbours have their Grandchildren visiting). I finally went to my sewing room and he then asks a question about another cookie recipe. The neighbour asked if I could reinforce the handles on two tote bags that the grandkids were given on their recent cruise. Finally got some actual quilting done! Total baking for the day - 4 loaves of whole wheat bread, one batch of ribbon cookies, one batch of cranberry ginger cookies, one coco-krispie log, and a pan of brownies! One loaf and two plates of goodies went to the next-door-neighbour, another plate of goodies to the neighbour across the street - now to find containers for all the baking to stash in the freezer! Tonight I'll be finishing the binding on a mystery quilt made from a Quiltmaker pattern. Then I'll be ready to start the next project on the list!
