Hello All

I used to hang out here a number of years ago....and remember the banner when it was making it;s way around the country....there was a really nice person that lived near Cranberry Pa. that was very active and had the banner for a while. We were able to get together(such a nice thing!). There was also a person called Buckeye Bev? Is she still here?

Anyway, all of this is to say that I am getting back into sane quilting to some degree and would like to particpate in some of the community things that go on...how do I do that now?

Welcome back! I'm not sure where the banner is these days, and I can't remember who had it in PA. :( As for Buckeye Bev, I know she's not hanging out here any longer -- nor are several others who were here at that time. However, we do have many who are still here, and we have lots of people who will seem new to you. So welcome back, and just scan the posts for what you'd like to participate in. There's a monthly BOM, and of course there are still the HUG quilts, and there may be others from time to time. :)

Hello Ktj! I'd just like to say welcome back to the Land of RCTQ. We have fun here, no moderator, no rules. The only thing you really need to know is that it is very wise to have your chocolate vetted. Just send a pound or two to the Office of the Official Chocolate Taster of RCTQ, which is in my Palace here in Virginia. I will test and taste and report back via email. You don't have to thank me ... this is my unselfish volunteer duty in RCTQ. A tough job, but someone's gotta do it. :) I don't know about other community events here, but chocolate tasting is alive and well in my Palace her in Virginia.

KTJ,

Welcome back! The only person I know near Cranberry is our own Mickie Swall. I don't know that I will be back in the area anymore now that my daughter graduated from PITT about 6 weeks ago and will be moving back home in the middle of August.

I remember the banner making its rounds. I wonder if Sairey would have it. If my one and only still working brain cell remembers correctly, she started the banner. Have not "seen" her in a long time.

Stay in touch. We are still a great group!
