help with a sashing

I have all these beautiful triangles leftover from the scrap quilt I am making that I would like to use in a narrow sashing. Does anyone know a fairly simple plan to make a sashing similar to a flying geese or seminole pattern? I want the background to be black with the colored triangles running through the center somehow.

the only way i would be able to make a flying geese pattern, would be to pick out a coordinating color and make triangles 1/2 the size of the ones you have now with a 1/4 in. seam allowance. OR you could make really small prairie points.

What type of triangle is it? All 3 sides the same? All 3 sides different? 2 the same? That will make a difference in how easy (or difficult) it will be to turn them into a Flying Geese type sashing strip.
