I found a quilt group!

Earlier in the year, while up in York, Nel persuaded me to join the Quilter's Guild of the British Isles. Today the Region Two October Newsletter dropped through my door, and Lo! There is a group that meets in town here, at a place called The Phoenix Center (a wooden prefab building in the middle of town: looks neatly old-fashioned, and all the

60's and 70's concrete and brick mess of the Swallows Center, the cop shop, the PO, the Library, etc have grown up round it!), every second Tuesday. Next meeting is this coming Tuesday evening, at seven in the evening. They natter, drink tea, do handwork, catch up on UFO's - all sorts! Sounds like it might be fun, so I shall go and get involved.

Glad to be of service!

Hope it turns out to be a good group.

They are quilters. How can it not be a good group? ;-)

Glad you found them and I'll bet your vast sewing skills will have you teaching them a lot.

Much obliged! :D

The lady I spoke to sounded great. :)

This! ;)

Dunno about that... I did say I wanted to be involved with anything they do for kids.
