The yellowed, brittle material was found in the urn during excavation in the southern town of Argos, a Culture Ministry announcement said Wednesday

Howdy!

Well, Pat in Ark., you may be grown up but I wouldn't call you ancient!

I'm thinking this cloth was left there by some kid who didn't want to clean his room & hang up his clothes so he stuffed it into the copper container and hid it in a dark place. A very dark place. You know how kids are.

R/Sandy-- history buff but I don't *think* I qualify for "ancient"

Well, I am thinking it was stashed by a quilter who didn't want her husband to see she was bringing home yet another piece of fabric. VBG
