I know the feeling! We moved (internationally) in October, we were reunited with our belongings in late November. So far, I've not been able to locate my essential oils, I only had lavendar and tea tree, but both are useful! We've also lost the handles from our filing cabinet, but that is to do with the movers not us!

Don't get greedy now, T; took 4 months to find the 1/4" foot, so within a year you should have the other 2 items.

Of course, it could just be a case of the episode of Twilight Zone (the newer series) that I often quote:

Sat is gonna be crazy with contractors once again: the 'lectrician PROMISED to come on Sat, the 'correct' interior door is to be hung that day, and the painter is to do the exterior door and trim. Next week, the base trim is to be in which will need to be stained and then installed. I do hope to get downtown to see the Fountain go Green at noon or at 5 PM for St Paddy's Day.

Sun will be taken with moving furniture out of our bedroom, LR, and den for the carpet to be laid on Mon.

It's getting closer to Moving In Day :)

You probably don't want the gripper snap pliers anyway. They have been exceeded by a much better tool. I might go look and see what the 'new and improved' one is if you need me to. If your pliers were very old, they were probably fiddly and inaccurate. The new ones are dead accurate and can perform easily. And then there's this. If you get a new toy, the old ones will appear. For what it's worth, we reclused to the Swamp almost 9 years ago and think we've finally found everything. Polly

I made it to the Quilt show preview party tonight. It is great. lots and lots of wonderful quilts, of all sizes, shapes and styles. Over 400 quilts on display. Some of the old faithful vendors, but nothing real special that I saw. (Of course with the emergency room visit and emergency car repair/rental bill I am not going to spend much money at the moment. ) I did take some pictures, and may finally figure out webshots to post some of them for a bit. Hopefully I will meet up with you Ms. Butterfly, sent a note to you separately a bit ago.

I've moved so many times- it seems like Christmas when I unpack. I always find things that I have been missing.... but then other things are missing. It's a constant trade-off. Old stuff found and now other stuff is gone. Glad you found your foot- those 1/4 in. feet make quilt piecing sooooo much easier! Hope the rest of your AWOL items show up soon!
