Early this year rctq had an epidemic of missing tools/treasures. I found mine today and was wondering if everybody else had unearthed their hiding valuables. The missing here was the thing used to charge my camera. I'd looked everywhere (3 times) except the refrigerator's lettuce bin and inside the toilet tank. I had even searched online to buy a new charger but wasn't even bright enough to know the name of what I'd lost - adaptor? cable? dock? . . . just was clueless. So! Happy dance with me. The rascal was still plugged in in the outlet up under the kitchen counter overhang. If we had a cat, he would have noticed. Polly

Woohoo. I don't think I am on the hunt for anything at the moment. Since dd moved out in Oct. things have been less crushed and life is easier. Things are not so hidden. Heck she has so much storage I am using some of her cupboards for big odd ball stuff I rarely use. I could help on the cat front. There is a quite fine tuxedo cat that is quite wonderful. Think if I put a couple of holes in a flat rate box he'd get that far? (just kidding before folks get stirred up). Hope other folks are finding their lost items too. Taria
I did find a pair of missing scissors, just yesterday. My favorite scissors are my 6" Ginghers & they have been missing for about a year. I was sure they had slid down the cushion in the sofa in the living room, but I never could find them. We replaced the sofa (nearly new, but DH didn't like it:() & I thought they would fall out then & they didn't. I finally ordered a new pair, because I know sometimes that is the only way to find lost things. Last night, I was sitting in my chair in my sewing room & a bead slipped out of my hand, so when I went digging around for it - the scissors appeared! I'm so happy, now I can keep one pair in my traveling sewing kit & one here at home!

Polly that's wonderful! I have lost an entire package of artist transfer paper. I know it's here in my sewing room. Somewhere. Probably tucked into a book or magazine that I've also lost but just don't know it yet. I keep swearing I'm going to clean this mess up. But I haven't yet. Maybe I will just take a few weeks off from creating and sewing and clean my room. Or not. It sounds really boring, doesn't it. LOL
