Is this Gruop still Up and Running?

I've been away from the quilting group for nearly 8 years and am wondering if the group still functions (not doubting this because I've gone but because of new technologies).

We are all here, in whatever shape, form, situation, or mood you may find us at any given time. LOL

Welcome back!

There are a lot of new folks and us older folks, I don't know everyone, but we are here and functioning. If you read r.c.t.q. for awhile I'm sure that you will see someone you know. Bonnie, in Middletown, VA

We don't just function, we boogie! Come on back and get to know those of us who weren't here when you were.

Bernadette, by all that's wonderful! What's going on in your world? Where *is* your world these days? So much to catch up on. Thought about you so often - every time Hong Kong or Singapore feature in the news; both remind me of you. . In message ,

Well Hello Stranger! Not long ago I came across a Laura Ingalls Wilder book and a thought of you popped into my head. Isn't it funny how a stray object or music will bring up a long-ago acquaintance?! It has been so long since you were last here, Bernadette, I'll welcome you as I would a newbie.

Welcome to the Land of RCTQ. We have fun here, no moderator, no rules. The only thing you really need to know is that it is very wise to have your chocolate vetted. Just send a pound or two to the Office of the Official Chocolate Taster of RCTQ, which is in my Palace here in Virginia. I will test and taste and report back via email. You don't have to thank me ... this is my unselfish volunteer duty in RCTQ. A tough job, but someone's gotta do it. :)

Well, I'm up, but don't know about running any more. You see, I tend to pee down my leg when I run........

(was only trying to be funny)

Yes, I realize the alternative......been there, nearly did that 12 years ago. I still marvel at the world and thank God every day that I wake up alive.

DH teases when he hears an ambulance siren early in the morning that someone is 'waking up dead'. He has been hauled out of here in an ambulance a couple of times (early in the morning) so I guess he is at liberty to tease about such an idea. Waking up alive an easier option for all involved IMO.
