Hi, After reading part of the message thread the other day about Jo- Ann stores I sent an email to their corporate offices. This is what I got in return:
Thank you for your email regarding the quilting departments in Jo-Ann Fabrics and crafts. We are not eliminating the quilting fabric in our stores, in fact we are working to expand our assortment.
As always, please feel free to pass along your comments. We love to pass on praises to our team members. And certainly, we need to know if there are opportunities for us to correct.

I hope this is the fact. A lot of us can't always afford to spend LQS money to get fabric for "smaller" projects.
