There has been some interest at our local quilt shop in a Jo Morton miniature group. Is anyone involved in such a group either through a shop, guild or just a group of friends? I am trying to decide how to organize the group. Are Jo Morton's miniatures different from other miniatures other than her desire to make them look old? I know those "into" Dear Jane would not want to be in a group using other types of small block patterns. Are Jo's followers as crazy as Janiacs?
I have made and collected miniature quilts for years. There are over
100 quilts in my collection. Those that I have purchased have been mainly at charity auctions like the one held each year at NQA. I use them throughout my home like pictures on the walls. They are rotated during the year with the seasons. Many are in the 18" by 22" range because that way I can swap them without changing other things in the decor.Susan Price
