Boy, that transition to mobileme has been a PITA, hasn't it? I still can't get half my computers to sync up, DH lost his .mac email for a while; Apple's gotten a bit of a black eye on this. But if they ever get everything to work, it will be fabulous.
What is Mobileme? I'm assuming it's a Mac program.

It's the new name for their expanded .mac (dot-mac) web services. (Full details here:

) With Mobileme you can keep your contacts, calendar, to-do list, e-mails, and website bookmarks automatically synced between all your Macs, PCs, iPhone and iPod Touch, and it's also password accessible through any computer with internet access. There's also easy photo publishing if you're using iPhoto on the Mac, website hosting, offsite backup, and a place to stash large files that others can access (password protected if desired). I wish that part had been up and running a couple of months ago -- I had to distribute a large pdf file to the members of my group with instructions for a group quilt, and about half the members couldn't receive the attachment because it was too large. If I'd been able to stash it on my public space on Mobileme, all I would have sent in the email was a download link.
It will be very cool once it's fully up and running, but they've had so many problems in the first week that they're giving all the subscribers a one month extension to make up for the problems. :(
