Laurel Burch does it again! Another fabric line.....

So many of us loved Laurel Burch's Mythical Horses fabrics that I wanted to point out her new line of fabrics that is just as lovely as the horses. Search at your fave fabric store for her "Ocean Song" line of fabrics- there's a gorgeous panel and the fabrics to compliment it- mermaids, fishies, seahorses, etc. (Butterfly started this with her post about seahorse fabric!). YUMMY!!!

Here's the main panel which comes in two colorways-

equilter seems to have a very complete collection of the fabrics.

I already have the panel. I was delighted with the print, only disappointment was it wasn't as large as the horse panel. I hope to work on it by the pond this summer!!!!

Geeze I love Laurel Burch! I saw this line a couple weeks ago and oooh'd and ahhhh'd over it something fierce - but I resisted. I still have the Mythical Horses panel and fabric upstairs in my stash, begging me to do something with it. These are truly lovely though.... no doubt about it!

I haven't done anything with my mythical horses fabrics, either. But I just had to buy this line for one of the bathrooms in "The Next House"! I got enough fabric for a shower curtain and window curtain, some pretty trimmings on the towels and the panel to make a wall hanging. Now..... the bathroom walls. Should they be painted lime green or fuschia or golden yellow or.....??? The house isn't even started yet, so I have some time to decide! VBG

Pat-

The two panels aren't very different. One is darker with cobalt blues and the other is more turquoise and appears much the same except a bit lighter in the water area. I got the fish stripe in cobalt for the shower curtain (it will be used with a vinyl liner behind it) and the colbalt tiny fishes for the valance over the shower curtain. I may have seen the turquoise panel at Big Horn Quilts or Fabric.com or equilter..... I searched several sites for the bestest prices.

'tis all my fault and I'll take credit for it
